I'dsay it'd be a damnsite cheaper (and perhaps quicker depending on the time of day) by underground. Get the Jubilee line (I think) to Waterloo and then the picadilly line.

If you get a black cab, you will be charged extortionate prices. You can get a regular cab, but I think you have to call the cab comapnies and ask them how much it'd cost.

I think it would cost at least £25 (but prob not more than £35) if you're travelling outside the rush hour. Most black cabs take 5 people (some take 6) so splitting the cost obviously helps, and it's usually cheaper to book a mini cab.

Using the tube is a good idea if it's still running (runs up to about midnight). Take the Jubilee (grey) line then change to the bakerloo (brown) line at Waterloo.
