Skating is fun, well at least for those pips who saw me landing on my face at South Kensington's ice-rink!!!

I went to the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland last week, and did the ice skating. Was my partner's first time and he fell over within 3 minutes. He fell over another 3 times after that. Hurt his wrist though from landing in it all the time so he had to get off the ice :( He enjoyed it though :)

I like ice skating, but I think they cram too many people on the ice. You are just constsntly stuck behind groups of people with flailing limbs ready to take you down at any moment. I just wanna skate.

I know what you mean.
I am a hopeless skater myself though, I fall over all the time!!!

i've been once when i was about 5 lol and i didn't like it but that was ages ago but i'm still scared of falling over lol

just thought it would be a fun thing to do with friends to get in the christmas spirit.

i'd like to go during the evening about 7 or 8 think it would be quite cool (or dangerous) to do it in the dark

It is cool skating outdoors at night. Very pretty. cause I like lights and things. I should go to Las Vegas and just stare at the lights.

I first went when I was about 7 and these boyes had made this small pile of ice and I tripped on it and went skidding across the ice in my belly and my top lifted and I had a massive graze all over my belly Have only been a few times since then but haven't fallen over since either :D the fear of falling makes me have good balance. Same as when I've done canoeing. Scared of capsizing so I don't do it. Simple! lol
