Movin to London from Dublin

Hiya

don't really know if this is the right spot to post this but here goes...

im thinking of moving to london from Dublin (as the title suggests!! lol!!) and im lookin for some tips on where to go for work and good spots to find flats to rent etc... i would like to live somewhere around Holloway/Islington....

Anyone got any tips for me?? Aside from a few weekends i havn't spent a lot of time in London....

TO be fair, not many people on this forum actually live in London, surprisingly! I knew someone who lives in that kind of area, but I couldnt tell you anything. It's the same pretty much wherever you go. Jobs are the same, nightlife is the same, travel, etc. It depends what vacacnies they have in the area or if you're planning on commuting into the centre of town, etc etc. I'm not sure we're gonna be much help!!

Its a difficult question to answer because basically you havent been specific!

You want to know where to work? There are jobs in every town in London!

Flats etc? In every town!

Find some jobs you want to do first, then try to find affordable digs on somewhere like Gumtree after that. But its not cheap here!
