hi would anyone have an idea of the approx cost of getting from wimbledon to twickenham?

Yeah, one way.
Transport is pretty much extortionate now, though Oyster helps make tube and bus journies a little but easier.
For some people now driving is the cheaper option! Its £4.70 or £6.20 for me now to go to the West End!

Especially on the 'new' trains which have hard plastic seats and lots of standing room for overcrowding...really useful at 9:30pm when the train isnt busy but the seats are all gone because there are hardly any!
