whats so good about obama? he hasnt done anything yet. he has however expressed his loyalty towards israel. this is a great thing. more dead and abused palestinians. obama has also pledged to launch his own jihad on pakistan and afganistan. he also does not want to withdraw all troops from iraq. a lot of people think he wants to end the war, but he will only remove combat troops. heaps of troops and military contractors will remain. contractors include blackwater, a well known private security firm, known for killing random iraqi civilians. he will close down guantanamo, only to send these innocent victims to another country to be tortured. i think he is putting these guys on ebay to the highest bidder. yes, really. we should really congradulate this guy.

He has to balance the wishes of millions of people in his own country whilst also giving consideration to the view of the billions of the whole planet. Given that, he will never be able to please everyone, but on balance I feel his views, policies and direction are a massive step forward from the previous president and therefore I feel much more positive and optimistic about the world's prospects.

Obviously if any one of us was in his position, we'd all do things slightly or even very differently, but please just look at the bigger picture.

I do wish people could sometimes just see the positive in things rather than just attacking and being cynical about everything. It's tiresome to always be grumpy :sleeping: :nod:
