I went to London Zoo once and the only animal there was a really small dog. It's a Shih-Tzu.

London Zoo really is awful though. If you want a decent zoo go to whipsnade, or woburn.

The aquarium is OK, but again dont expect your visit to last more than an hour.

I was only look a week or so ago at London Zoo but nearly fell off my chair at the prices. So i've entered a couple of comps so far to win tickets..... thats the only way my kids are going to London Zoo :laugh:

I disagree. I don't know what you do at the zoo, but I never seem to have enough time to do everything. The tropical rainforest bit is great, you can lose so much time in there. 'Awful' is a bit too strong, given it actually is a decent zoo and the entry is not too expensive, either.

At the train station, pick up one of the two for one books they have. London Zoo is in there. So that halves the price right there :)

Not expensive? It costs £66 for a family of 4!

And that's before any meals, drinks, ice creams, carousel rides etc!
