Ok, so as you probably know Zavvi is closing all stores because the company was placed in administration for insolvency.

Yesterday after finishing my usual grind at the British Library I decided to go have a look at the Zavvi store in Oxford St., the one opposite Tottenham Court station, with the big "25/50% off" signs. So I took a walk and got there by 8:30 pm. I checked their closing time, which is stated to be 10 pm, and opted for a quick pizza at the Hut. "Plenty of time", I thought. After dinner I went back to Zavvi and the place was closing; it was 9 pm.
The bouncer kept on repeating to me "shop is closed, it's closed". When he finally heard me asking why, since it was clearly stated the shop wasn't supposed to close before a whole hour, he told me they've been closing at 9 for some time already. What about changing the sign, then, dammit?
No wonder they're in administration.

Sorry, I really had to take this off my chest!

That is a horrible experience - yet things like that happen all the time - don't let it dampen your spirit - smile and forget about it :)

Hehe well I wouldn't call it horrible, but it sure was a pain in the ass. Next time I'll ask.

Nothing particular, just a fews CD's.
I actually went to the place yesterday, and bought nothing. Probably the good stuff has already been sold. Anyway the extra 25% off made it a good deal, I'd bought "Stars on CCTV" for 3.75 last week.
