(b)London(/b) here we come.

I am moving to London with my friend last September this year. We are currently looking for accomodation, but need some advice on where's the best to live. We are from Australia so our only form of transit is by foot and public transport (tube). We want to live central London or not too far out of London. Where are the safest places to live?

Look forward to hearing from you all.

This question is asked a LOT on here. Firstly you should read the other threads for advice and info.

And secondly, its too big a question to ask. I think people underestimate how big London is (something like 45 miles East to West?) so there are no easy 'safe to live with good transport' answers. Lots of places have transport links, and all have good and bad bits!

KC A
Hello, my name is KC and I am moving to London next summer to work as a recording engineer. I am from America and I am applying for dual citizenship; that way I don't have to deal with any visas (or at least in the long run). I plan on living in England as long as possible. Is there any advice anyone could give me to help with the transition? Or does anyone know of anything I need to know, legally speaking, to live in the country as a citizen other than applying for citizenship? Much thanks!

~KC
