My friend is moving to Willesden Green...she will be sharing with one other female but they will both have to travel around separately as they don't work together...

Is this a safe area? Is she going to be OK living here or do I need to send out a rescue party?????????

mmm... can't say that it's the nicest area around, but I'm sure you'd get locals who swear by it. I don't know it well enough to know if there are pockets of 'good' bits in the rest, but when I have been through it it's always been a bit run down and not particularly green with lots of busy roads. I guess the good thing is that you do get value for money there so can probably afford a better/bigger place to live once you're there. (sorry to anyone who lives there and loves it, but I'm happy to be educated if i've just haven't understood the area properly :getmycoat:)

Thanks SOOZ...she has settled in nicely & said that the house she is in is great. She has nice housemates to share with & the area seems to be friendly enough.

I was worried that she might be mugged or something but she swears that she is always careful & her commute is nice & safe...plus she has been doing kung-fu for about 6 years now so I think she should be OK.

Now I just need to save some more money so I can come & visit her over there...such a long way from Australia!
