Good areas to rent in Hertfordshire?

My girlfriend has just got a new job (starting April) in Welwyn Garden City - so we need to find somewhere to rent in the Hertfordshire area so I can commute into London.

Could anyone suggest a few decent places where we could start looking please?

I suppose it would help if I mention we are looking to spend around £800 - £900 pcm for a 2 bed flat.
I know we are going to struggle - but hopefully will only be for 6mths until we feel a bit more settled.

I'm from Hertfordshire and I thought I'd give alow down on some of this best place to stay. St Albans is a lovely Roman Town and has a good towm centre and good transport links. It also has quite a good social scene. It's quite expensive though!

St Albans and Harpenden are both nice towns that are easily accesible into both Wewlyn and London (Thameslink, 30 mins or so). They're both do-able in your price range too. Try 'Frosts' Estate Agents, they cover both and have a website.
