The event is called “Sound and Vision” and is an exhibition of some of the best music art, photography, design and memorabilia from the past fifty years. It’s taking place on 27 February 2005 in London’s world-famous Abbey Road Studios. All proceeds from the event will go to Cancer Research UK.
Sir George Martin is the patron of the event, and live music on the night will be provided by renowned Jazz saxophonist Lol Coxhill, former Madness member Chas Smash (DJ set), Alabama 3 and Squeeze guitarist and lyricist Chris Difford.
