Booking A Party At Ten Of London's Top Bars/Clubs


EVENTS, PRIVATE PARTIES, RESERVED AREAS AND GUESTLISTS FOR TEN OF LONDONS TOP BAR-CLUBS

1 Introduction
London Late Night (www.londonlatenight.co.uk) is one of the leading London independent style bar groups with extensive experience of arranging private parties, corporate events, reserved areas and guestlists across London. Below is a short summary of our booking policies.


2. Play Bar, 58 Old St, Clerkenwell/Shoreditch/Farringdon, London EC1
Play is a two-floor style bar club in Clerkenwell with a 4am licence Friday/Saturday and 2am weekdays. The venue is decorated in a retro ironic style with sofas etc. Each floor is fully self-contained with its own dance floor, sound system, lights, loos etc. An excellent Italian buffet menu is also available or parties can arrange their own catering. Private parties (Fri/Sat). Each floor can be hired separately on Fridays and Saturdays until 4am with your own DJs (or we can supply Djs from our panel). To book a deposit of £200 is required which is returned if the bar spend is over £1750 (Fri) & £2,000 (Sat). This is the ideal option for parties of between 125-175 (ground floor) or 150-200 (first floor) people. Saturdays in particular get booked a long way in advance so it is important to book as early as possible

** we are finding that the most successful parties at Play have a minimum of 150-200+ people over the course of the night. Smaller parties tend to fizzle out!***

Private parties (Sun-Thurs). The first floor can be hired privately Sunday – Thursday until 2am with your own DJs (or we can supply Djs from our own panel). To book a deposit of £50 is required which is returned if the bar spend is over £500. This is an ideal option for parties of more than 50 people. Promoters (Sun-Thurs). We also book in promoters on Sun-Thurs for either one floor or both floors. There is no hire fee but there is a minimum bar spend of £500 and a returnable deposit of £50 per floor. Promoters (Fri/Sat). We also book in promoters on Fridays and Saturdays for either one floor or both floors. There is no hire fee but there is a minimum bar spend of £2k and a returnable deposit of £250 per floor depending on whether you are doing a bar split or taking the door. Corporate events. We have hosted many corporate events including wrap parties, product launches and music showcases. Daytime hire. The venue is also available for daytime hire for photo/film shoots, conferences and meeting at attractive rates

Food and drink. A full range of drinks are available. Draught beers are £3.00, bottled beers are £3, premium spirits (large) £4.50, wine (glass) £3 and cocktails from £4-£7. Hot and cold buffet menu options (min spend £150) are available from £3 (nibbles) - £8 (full meal) or you can arrange your own catering. Email menu@playbar.co.uk for the menu options.

Reserved areas and guestlists. Reserved areas and guestlists can be arranged online from our website www.playbar.co.uk. There is no charge for booking a reserved area and the guestlist is free b4 11 and £2 after (note on some dates reserved area and guestlists may not be available). You (and your guests if you put in their email address) will receive an automatic email confirmation and travel directions


3. Living Bar, 443 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton, London SW9
Living is a two-floor style bar club in the centre of Brixton with a 4am licence Friday/Saturday and 2am weekdays. The venue is decorated in a retro ironic style with sofas etc. Each floor is fully self-contained with its own dance floor, sound system, lights, loos etc. Living is best known for its hugely popular Fri/Sat funky house (ground floor) and retro 80’s/90s (first floor) nights. Private parties (Fri/Sat). The first floor can be hired separately on Fridays and Saturdays until 10.30/11pm with your own DJ (or we can supply DJs from our panel) with a reserved area afterwards. This option is very popular with birthday parties of between 50-200 people. There is no charge for this. 4. Mishmash Bar, 45 Lavender Hill, Clapham/Battersea, London SW4
Mishmash is a style bar club in Clapham with a 2am licence Friday/Saturday and 12am weekdays. The venue is decorated in a retro ironic style with multi coloured sofas and shocking wallpaper. Mishmash is best known for its hugely popular Fri/Sat retro 80’s/90s/classic house nights. A grazing menu is available at the venue, which is perfect for groups. Private parties (Fri/Sat). The venue cannot generally be hired out exclusively for private parties on Friday ands Saturdays however reserved areas can be provided for party groups. This is ideal for groups of between 5-50 people. These can be booked online at our website see details below

5. Nectar Bar, 562 Kings Rd, Chelsea/Fulham, London SW6
Nectar is a stunning style bar club in Chelsea/Fulham with a 2am licence Friday/Saturday and 12am weekdays (2am for private parties). The venue is decorated in a retro ironic style with multi coloured sofas and shocking wallpaper. Nectar is best known for its hugely popular Fri/Sat retro 80’s/90s/classic house nights. 6. Precinct Bar, 100 Cromwell Rd, South Kensington/Chelsea, London SW7
Precinct is a one-floor style bar club in South Kensington (2 mins from Gloucester Rd) with a 2am licence all week. The ground floor bar is split into a seated area with sofas etc, a dance floor area with a fully fitted sound system, lights, videos etc and a separate Moroccan themed alcove area. Pioneer mixer), lights, videos etc. Buffet menu is also available. The venue is ideal for parties/events for between 150-250 people. 9. Church Bar, St Matthews Peace Garden, Brixton, SW2

Church Bar is a bar & club in St Matthews Church in the center of Brixton (5 mins from Brixton Tube) with a 6am licence Fri/Sat and 3am during the week. The ground floor bar has flexible seating and can be arranged as a club, bar or private party space (we can make the space larger or smaller for you). The club has a fully fitted 10k Turbosound with Technics/Allen & Heath Zone 62 mixer/CD mixer sound system, lights and cloakroom. A buffet menu from £3-£8 per head is also available. Promoters(Fri/Sat). Promoters can hire Church Club Fri/Sat until 6am with a nominal hire fee of a £100 as long as a minimum bar spend of £3,000 is reached. A returnable deposit of £250 is required with the £100 booking fee with the promoter taking the door – we usually take deposits over the phone by credit card. The £250 deposit is returned as long as the minimum bar spend of £3,000 is reached However we are selective about the promoters we take on and a larger deposit may be required for first time promoters or if we feel we require extra security for the event. 10. Stylus Bar, Camberwell Church St, Brixton, SW2

Stylus Bar is a two floor style bar & club in the centre of Camberwell with a 4am licence Fri/Sat and 3am during the week. Each floor can be hired separately or together. The ground floor bar has an intimate feel with flexible seating and is ideal for events upto 125 people or as the second/chill room for a club night. The basement club has a capacity for 150-250+ people and is ideal for larger parties or for club night. Each floor has its own bar, loos, sound system and lights. Promoters/DJs. Promoters can hire Stylus Bar Fri/Sat until 3am with no hire fee as long as a minimum bar spend of is reached. A returnable deposit of £350 and minimum bar spend of £3,000 is required if the whole venue is hired and £250/£2,000 if only the basement club is hired – we can take deposits over the phone by credit card. However we are selective about the promoters we take on and a larger deposit may be required for first time promoters or if we feel we require extra security for the event.
