Taxi from US Embassy to Euston station

Hello,
I'll be traveling from the American Embassy in London next week to the rail station at Euston. Can anybody tell me how long the journey will take by black cab taxi and approximately how much it will cost?

Also, can I flag a cab down at this location easily?

This journey should take around 10 - 15 minutes depending on traffic. It shouldn't cost more than £10.

You shouldn't have a problem flagging down a black cab in that area. If you can't get one, head towards Oxford street where you'll find one no problem.

As in the first reply. Londons so called 'Black cabs' would be cheaper and quicker and easily to find. Plus the drivers know the way.
