Sad Hi, I've never had any experience with the tube and London in general and I'm going to the US embassy. I live in Lincoln and I have to catch the train to Kings cross (i think!) then somehow manage to find my way to the US embassy, the address is 24 Grosvenor Square. How much would a taxi cost from kings cross? I can't risk getting lost and being late!! Or is the tube really easy? Please help!!

Hi Jezabelle,

Welcome to the All In London forum Happy

The nearest tube to the US emabssy is Bond Street. From King's Cross you just need to go southbound on the Victoria line to Oxford Circus then change on to the central line and go westbound 1 stop to Bond Street.

Here's a few links to useful resources on All In London:

King's Cross tube location:

Bond Street tube location:

If you visit our tube section and click on the links for these stations you'll be able to see what's around them and their location on a street map.

Hope that helps, enjoy your trip to London.
