Did a shellac take off and full set with white tips.

Staff were very friendly and efficient, I loved my nails.

This place is unclean on every level, if you look closely behind the pedicure chairs you will see MOUSE DROPPINGS!!!!
The man who owns the nail
bar is extremely rude and can at times be VERY
argumentative. The staff also argue amongst
themselves in there own language.
Due to hygiene level and customer service I definitely Don't Recommend!

Awful nail bar where you get shunted around. So rude. Damaged nails! Quality is terrible and no service. Speed is okay. Avoid. Like the plague.

I went to this place after a colleague of mine recommended it to me. Super efficient, proper classic mani pedi with couticules cutting and applying a foot razor. They can do many-pedi at the same time. Nothing fancy inside, the premises are basic but for the price they charge does very well (60 pounds for classic mani-pedi wiht shellac, 13 pounds classic manicure with traditional polish). Highly recommend. I don't agree with the negative reviews that I read here

Super fast, very friendly and cheap - £22 for shellac (including removing the old coat). I will definitely be back.

having tried most places in the area, this is 100% the best. having been every two weeks for nearly six months have always found Lovely staff, brillant service, and amazing prices. Yes you have to wait once in a while, but not only is it worth it, for the prices you pay it really doesnt matter.

I do not understand the negative reviews. I went here for the first time today and had acrylic infills and a pedicure. Both treatments were excellent and the staff were pleasant and friendly. I had booked an appointment and did not have to wait . Would recommend

Reading the recent reviews, I have to say that my experience is somewhat different.
I find the team there charming, helpful & have always done a great job at competitive pricing.
I have been going every 2/3 weeks for the past 3 years.
I always have UV Gel, have never been pushed into any other.

AWFUL PLACE!!! would never go back again....went for a simple refill which cost £17, they decided to take one of the nails off but not replace it, she just put acrylic over my natural nail and when i questioned it she said it would be fine, 2 days later it chipped. the topcoat they used on my french manicure went YELLOW after 3 days and left my nails looking like i got them done a month ago!
not worth the prices here.....im so dissapointed and would never ever use the place again!

I went to Diamond Nail Bar for the first time yesterday, and have left feeling seriously disappointed. As I am allergic to the powder gel kind of nails, I always make an appointment whenever I go somewhere new and ask specifically if they do UV gel. I've always been happy to pay that little bit extra because I think they look much nicer than acrylic. When I phoned here, they said that they did UV gel so I made an appointment for my lunch hour. When I got there, I was kept waiting despite having an appointment and then told they couldn't do the UV gel. They tried to force me to use powdered gel (as has happened to me in other Chinese nail bars) and when I refused, they told me they could put on tips and then use 'coloured gel' which is really just the Shellac gel. They told me this would work the same as regular UV gel, so I agreed.

Despite having my hands under the UV lamp for about 30 mins, I was constantly told it would be 'just 5 minutes' until the gel dried. Now that it eventually has, it looks vile. The gel on my thumb nails cracked and started peeling off by the time I returned to my desk, and there are visible 'bumps' where my nail bed and the end of the fake nail meet. Despite them being cut so sort that you can barely see them over the tips of my fingers (and I have small fingers and small nail beds so this is not a great distance) the tips feel as though they are about to snap off. I'm really disappointed with them, and feel as though I have had a fast one pulled on me. On some of my nails, I can even see my actual nail at the side!

I really do not recommend this place to anyone. I feel really self-conscious about my nails now and can't wait to get them removed.

On a further point: has anyone else had massive difficulty trying to get UV gel nails done in London? It seems no matter where I go, they try to pressure me into the powder gel as its cheaper for them. I have never had this problem in Glasgow, where I am originally from.

Dear Potential Customer

Diamond Nail bar is a place that i was visiting for at least 1 year every 3/4 weeks and i have never felt welcome and appreciated as a regular customer.
You really get the most basic service from basic people. The owner is a man who never listens, but always knows better. My cuticles were often cut and bleeding. He doesnt disinfect the tools he is uses and he is always in a hurry.

Making an appointment in this place is completely useless as even if you come on time there will be always at least 15 or 20 minutes delay as they dont write appointments down.
Whoever comes from the street will take your place and you will need to wait for what is described as ''5 minutes'' They will never apologize for keeping you waiting.
They will never offer you a glass of water and they talk in Vietnamese behind your back.

I have now found a better and cheaper place and will never go back to Diamond Nail Bar. The owner of this place only cares about maximum number of customers and doesnt pay any attention to the quality of his work. I often ended up with some nails thicker some thinner.

If you value customer service, then dont go there as you will be very disappointed.

take care

Used for first time on 26/1 for full set of Gel tips. Varnishing was a bit slapdash but more importantly I noticed on getting back to the office that one thumb was much shorter than the other. I returned the next day and explained that I wanted the shorter one redone to match the other and the guy gave me a story about how my cuticles meant that one thumb nail had to be shorter than the other. I dismissed this and insisted that I wanted it redone to which he said he would file down the longer thumb nail. After some further "discussion" he agreed to redo but with very bad grace. One of the girls started off the process and it was fine until the guy took over and promptly trimmed too much off the new nail once again making it too short although better than the first attempt. I was still left with a set of nails which were not right and which I felt self conscious about and will have to pay to have redone. I found the service slapdash and careless and would advise everyone to avoid at all costs. Definitely not value for money.

I really love the service here, its very quick and they do what you ask for rather than trying to get you to go for the most expensive options. I can get my nails infilled in 15 minutes, so perfect for lunch breaks and it helps that they accept advance bookings. My nails always look fab for at least 3 weeks so definitely a bonus there too. 5*****

Found the service very good and very quick.... good value for money. Extremely happy with the quality of the nail in-fills that they did, smooth, and thin, so they look at natural as they are going to !!! The best place I have found for a long time
Have your say
