No really very friendly, you get the feeling serving you is a chore and your presence is an inconvenience to them.

Foods good, but its not cheap. That combined with the poor service means I rarely go.

Since when have cafes started charging for a splash of milk [40p is ridiculous]this is the only place I have seen this done, elsewhere in Sydenham I can get a good coffee for $1.40 with milk or even cream. Not here, by the time I pay for a splash of milk my coffee costs £2.00. The coffee and the atmosphere are not worth the extra cost, seating is generally cramped and the tables not always cleared.
