I used to visit The Coffee Cup with my dad when I was a kid, I'm 60 now. Many memorable hours spent sitting outside watching the world go by, happy days.

I go to coffe cup some of the days during the week for my lunch break. Tuna or chicken salad are the best in hampstead. Decoration of the salad is better than high class restaurants. Also fish soup is great. I guess it's the work of japenese chef working there. P.S. Breaded veal (9/10)

Visited the Coffee Cup on Saturday lunchtime. Service was excellent, tables clean and well looked after. Food lovely and staff helpful and quick to serve their patrons. Interested to learn that it has been going since 1954 long may it continue.

I used to like to walk across The Heath and go to The Coffee Cup for a hot chocolate or a pasta dish. It was always great - nice service and good, wholesome, tasy food. That was originally around 1970 and again around 1980 - and it is still the same. So glad that it's still there, still as good....

This place was awful! We ordered vegetarain dishes but there was some bacon in our food, when we spoke to the staff they were really were rude and unapologetic. They said the kitchen is very small so they have to do all the meat and veggies together and that they are busy so don't have time to clean pans or surfaces down after use so bits of one meal sometimes end up in another meal!! Would not recommend this place at all.

Went to the Coffee cup last saturday, had a great minestrone soup (8/10), but what really impressed me was the superb quality of servis. i had a sallad with french dresing sauce and it was definitely the best sallad i ever eat. . i mentioned this to the waitress who said that the chef was infact portuges... i really just wanted a nice cozy place to have a warm cup after a walk in a hampstead heath, now i think i've just discovered my favourite place for food?!? Great value for money for the food!

Went to the Coffee cup last saturday, had a great goulash soup (8/10), but what really impressed me was the superb quality of the pasta dish, i had a ravioli with tomatoe sauce (£8), and it was definitely the best italian meal i've had since i was last in Italy in 2005... i mentioned this to the waitress who said that the chef was infact half italian... i really just wanted a nice cozy place to have a warm cup after a walk in a rainy hampstead heath, now i think i've just discovered my favourite place for italian food?!? Great value for money for the food!
