Fabulous!! No menu but 8 courses of amazingly beautiful food including 2 pasta dishes, carpaccio, scallops, roast suckling pig, panncotta to name but a few. At £40 for 8 courses and gorgeous wine at £25 a bottle a total bargain. Helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. Will be booking again.

I can guarantee that this is the most original place that you will eat in London (or just outside actually).
Get your head around the fact that there's no menu to choose from and there's no (visible) price list and just book. You won't regret it.
It's small, noisy, atmospheric - and that was on a Tuesday night - you're sitting in close proximity to your fellow diners and the food just keeps coming...and coming...and coming.
My wife took me here last night for our wedding anniversary meal, she'd been before and always raved about it, and I could see why - great freshly-cooked Italian fare served by bustling attentive waiters. The charismatic owner Riccardo pulls the strings in the semi-open kitchen whilst those little plates keep coming your way.
A few pieces of advice for when you do decide to eat here: book beforehand, do not under any circumstances eat anything for at least 5 hours before you arrive, do not expect to leave early (we racked up nearly 4 hours), if you can't manage the final meat course ask for a doggy bag and they make you one that looks like a fancy foil handbag.
The price is a good deal considering the amount and quality of food that you get - was £40 per head + £25 for a bottle of wine. Tap water is served as standard.
Everyone should experience this place at least once.

Food was very good but expensive. However the owner (Ricardo) was very very drunk and loud. Totally spoilt the evening. he was quite aggressive especially to a couple of single women and just shouted at them when they complained about his attitude.

Keep clear if you want a nice evening out or wait until Ricardo is away

This is diffcult as it is a nice little restaurant with pleasant atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help you.

However, be very clear about how much the bill will be from the start as whilst the food is nice, it is very expensive and you can get hit with a big bill (£60 per head incl wine) which is not representative of the standard of food - alot of courses don't make a substantial meal. Enjoyed my evening with friends but left feeling very ripped off.
Have your say
