Broadgate

The City of London is changing at an incredibly fast pace, whether it’s new shopping centres sprouting up or skyscrapers appearing, altering the capital’s skyline. One place that seems to have been in constant redevelopment over the last 30 years is Broadgate, an office, shopping and restaurant complex by Liverpool Street station. There’s a mixture of high end high street retail like Reiss and Karen Millen, luxury jewellers, and day to day necessities like newsagents, gyms, a wine shop and a Charles Worthington hair salon; in short, everything the City worker might need. Naturally there’s no shortage of places to go for lunch, and aside from the usual Prets and Starbucks there’s a café devoted to arancini balls, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant and a Geronimo’s gastropub.
