Amazing customer service. Never worn prescription glasses in my life until now. I was very surprised by the high end technology used, did not expect it. It was incredible and my eyes were checked thoroughly. I then got the opportunity to chose my frame which I absolutely love, ended up purchasing two pairs of sun glasses which I was unable to find anywhere else.. I was there for almost two hours chatting away to all staff .. friendly warm and they go out of their way to accommodate customers. Highly recommend Wood Street Opticians.

I got a new pair of glasses from Wood Street Opticians in February 2022, and was impressed by, and much more than satisfied with, the exemplary service I received from all staff members I dealt with — Shaz, Sarah, and Saba. They clearly did their jobs well — because the new glasses I now have, have given me outstandingly clear, sharp vision again. From my experience, I commend Wood Street opticians without hesitation.

I am registered blind, but have a small amount of useful vision in one eye.
For close vision, I use 30 diopter glasses. But both arms had come off of these glasses.
I called in to Wood St. Opticians to see if they could help.
First of all, a friendly Sara met us at the door and took our temperature before showing us to a seat. Saba then searched her stock of spare parts and fitted 2 new arms, and didn't even ask for a fee.
That was very kind to do that.
So the least I could do, was to write a review to say thank you.
Professional, friendly and kind. Also, they are very Covid aware and I felt quite safe.
Will highly recommend.

Pros: Nice looking site and friendly
Cons: Let down terribly. Will not be visiting again.
Basic protocols not followed - we are in a pandemic. Did not feel safe.
