Pleasant restaurant serving a good standard of quality produce, everything that was tasted was fresh and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the Adiva Grilled Feast a selection of grilled meats, my starter Sambousek Jabanegh Sabanegh was divine, crispy with the warm melted cheese and spinach. The entertainment was great with the belly dancer who was full of beans! Amazing value for money considering the attentive service, ambiance (I visited on a buoyant Saturday night), entertainment and food quality. Bring your own booze makes this restaurant excellent value for money.

Adiva is a fab place, I've been there 3 times and each time has been very nice. It's relaxed and fun. The food is always fresh and tasty, if you like meat this is a great restaurant as it has loads of delicious meat grills, the mezzes are also great, the pistachio ice cream is my favourite. I have visited the restaurant on a Friday and Saturday and they have a beautiful and entertaining belly dancer who is so joyful and vibrant she creates a great atmosphere and gets people to dance with her. The best thing about the restaurant is that it is excellent value for money especially as you can BYO alcohol aswell. Thank you Adiva I'll be back soon!

The restaurant is fairly new but in terms of the decor (apart from the shishapipe) not much money has been spent. However, I am not one to be dictated to by the frills and trimmings and having lived in Turkey for over 10 years was looking forward to tasting this newly established restaurant's cuisuine. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed! The food was of a basic standard and in some instances 'poor'. The area is a vibrant thriving part of East London so competitiion is high so I was surprized of the lack of effort not only in the service but also in the produce used. The restaurant does not charge for corkage but the price of the meal is fairly costly and in my opinion overpriced.
Conclusion:
For a better, fresher tasting meal I would recommend any Turkish kebab in the City! It would not surprize me if the proprietors were neither of Turkish or Lebanese decent!

1. The building and decor cost of the restaurant was in excess of £375,000
2. Our food is delivered daily, cooked from scratch for every single item. Produce is of excellent quality, from our Turkish suppliers who understands the type of produce required for their cuisine.
3. Service is typically described as very good/excellent, he/she has failed to mention that we don\'t levie a service charge unlike 99% of other restaurants. So if he/she was dissatisfied they wouldn\'t have been forced to pay for the service.
4. The average price of eating and drinking alcohol at Adiva is £17 per head for a 2 couse meal. The restaurant is on the cusp of Liverpool Street, where on average it cost £40 a head to eat and drink alcohol, but this person has deemed us \'overpriced\' ??
5. The person has concluded that they would prefer a Turkish Kebab in the city, why is he/she comparing a \'restaurant\' to a fast food place, it\'s a mis-match comparison.
6. I am the owner and I am half Turkish but born in the UK, my partner is fully Turkish but is a silent partner my other partner is arabic. My staff are not all from these countries nor do I believe that a person\'s culture/race/religion/sexual orientation should be taken into account when considering employment or opening a business a pre-requisite is not to have to come from \'Turkey\' or \'Lebanon\'. We believe in equal opportunities for all.
I have taken the time to look at this perosn profile just the one review on my restaurant, what amazes me is that I am the manager at the restaurant and I work there 7 days a week, this \'poor service and food\' was never bought to my attention.
