Staff very nice but service extremely slow some customers actually gave up and left. We had to try to catch a waiters attention to remind him at the end of our starters that he still hadn't brought us any drinks.
We saw other tables being offered bread and olives "on the house" but we were missed out. Portions very small but this may be because we chose a 2 course option so perhaps avoid this if you are hungry.
Food was really bland and kofte dry / over cooked.
Overall extremely disappointing and although we felt sorry for the waiter being over worked we also felt robbed when they added 12.5% service charge for a terrible level of service. We will not return and would not recommend.

I arrived at Helva with some friends when we were visiting Greenwich. The staff promised us a great menu with generous proportions. So we agreed to enter.
The starter was incredibly good. The salad was one of the best I ever had. However, the main course, no matter how well prepared...was slightly small. Not exactly "generous" as she advertised. However, the service charge fiasco really bugged me. Usually, they are optional but the manager forced us to fork out our mobey which I thought was really insulting. That's why 2 stars. Otherwise, good food.
