we love going to Andrew's coffee shop - a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, interesting but not obtrusive music, good coffee, lovely toast and cakes. It feels like being in Andrew's home when he's got nice friends round.

A cosy and relaxed coffee shop and one of the rare places that knows how to make a decent espresso -better than anything you'll find in one of the chains. A visit is a real tonic and the staff are friendly without being over-familiar.

This is a nice welcome improvement to the area, however the coffee was bitter and over extracted, which put me off. Hopeful that I'll get back there to try another coffee.
Atmosphere was warm and welcoming though but I didn't try any food.

Kennington has long needed a coffee shop that like Cheers where everybody knows your name.
Coffee is gives Monmouth Coffee a good run for its money and owner Andrew has created a lovely haven in the middle of an urban road that provides great coffee, cakes and sandwiches and a selection of artisan produce.
A very welcome addition to the neighbourhood and like a second home.

The Kennington Coffee Shop is a very welcome addition to the area. Andrew makes a great coffee and the pastries, sandwiches and snacks are delicious, all at reasonable prices.
This small cafe has a great friendly vibe, with Andrew soon picking up and remembering regular's Christian names.
