Hwaro

This truley is a hidden gem. We ordered the Intro to Korean BBQ and ate so many different items, it was brilliant. Plus the bill was very reasonable, staff were very welcoming and also shown us how to eat korean food. Lovely evening, will definitely be going back.

Hwaro is a quaint little Korean restaurant in South Wimbledon (not an area renowned for it's glut of culinary choices). The modern upbeat interior comes complete with Korean BBQ hot plates, books on Korean design and friendly and attentive staff. Our meal here was very pleasant and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and haven't already been bowled over by the other sophisticated options of a suburban curry house or Cottage Chicken.

Fantastic food and service, a real local hidden gem. I really would recommend trying this place. Its a great first place to try Korean food with friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Yum yum.
