The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run challenges people to keep running through the winter by taking on a 10km run. The inaugural edition of the run saw 15,000 people charge past London's most iconic landmarks to raise vital funds to help beat cancer sooner. Although fundraising is not compulsory for this event, whether you are able to raise £10, £100 or £1000 for Cancer Research UK, every pound is enormously important.

Starting in Westminster, runners head out on a loop past some of London's most famous landmarks including The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Big Ben, Tower of London and many more iconic London sites. Areas of snow, being dubbed Snow Zones, feature on the winter themed route, but runners won't let that stop them making it to the finish as they conquer the cold in aid of Cancer Research UK.
