Turning 'ages is an installation by well-known Bristol based artist Elaine Robinson. The piece comments on our connection with the written word and helps to promote the understanding with our relationship with books and libraries. The exhibition is currently touring nationwide, UK City libraries as part of an Arts Council funded tour. Robinson's stunning artwork explores the importance of ancestry and the connection we have with books and libraries. The piece will move to Westminster Library on 1st December, the final location on its UK tour and the last chance for the public to see and interact with the piece. The piece was extremely well received; it has enjoyed success at Leeds Central Library attracting a lot of media attentios including TV and sparked comment from visitors. Visitors to Westminster Library will be able to see and interact with Elaine’s artwork during normal library opening hours.
