Discovered in 2006 when temporarily based in London. Subsequently a frequent visitor from the North. Now a less frequent visitor from further North but use nowhere else. Why travel 300 miles for a haircut (rolled in with other things naturally)and pay more than locally? Excellent haircut, delightful people, slightly wacky salon making it all more fun. They deserve their business.

Antonio and Barbara run a very professional hair salon. They provide an expert and friendly service. I started using their services when I lived ten minutes’ walk away from them. I still use them now that I live fifteen miles away.

Metamorphosis is not only a hair salon, it is like a second home which is very therapeutic. I have had my hair done by two hair stylists from this salon and I was very amazed by both of the results. The customer service is phenomenal. The stylists care for all clients. As a bonus, the conversations along with a beautifully made coffee is amazing. I would highly recommended this hair salon and take this opportunity to thank Metamorphosis for blessing my hair and the transformation.

Highly recommend!
I went to Metamorphosis hair salon by chance when I moved to Battersea years ago and I was impressed by Antonio, his easy going , friendly but very professional attitude. After moving out from the area I tried other hairdressers but no one can cut my hair as him! My hair is not easy, too thick and long and layering it properly seems to be a task for so many hairdressers. So now I am taking an hour journey , but is worth it!
I love the place, music choice, long chats with Antonio, special espresso and the best layers in London.

Antonio at Metamorphosis in Battersea Square has been cutting my hair for nearly 3 years now. I discovered the salon one lunchtime when I was temporarily working nearby and he cut my hair better than anyone else has done in years. Time and care is taken, and he comes up with (always good) suggestions on different styles I can try. I now travel from west London to this salon because he's just so good. What you get is a hair style rather than just a haircut. The prices are very reasonable too, much better than any west end salon I've ever been to. Recommend highly.

Antonio & his team are such a delight. They are always welcoming with a smile & a resonating (Ciao Bella or Bello) on arrival. They go that extra mile to ensure one's comfort & if you have time constraints, having 2 people working on your hair to get you out on time, is not unusual. Accommodating special last minute requests and being squeezed in is something Metamorphosis will try to endeavour to do. They make you feel like a friend more than just a client. I would recommend them to any one that likes to feel like a local.

Amazing! Great customer service and care for clients. always attention to detail in creating trendy hair cuts and high fashion hair colours. Antonio and Patricia the hair stylists have repaired my dry damaged hair which was badly coloured elsewhere with several deep conditioning treatments. I am a regular and I always leave with a smile. Great conversation and a warm welcome. I am very happy with my hair color and cut!

I used this salon whilst staying with a friend near clapham junction after reading very good reviews on here ! It's a great place the staff are so friendly...i had Antonio such an interesting and nice guy ! Just wanted to add my review to say thanks very much to Metamorphosis for not only my great hairstyle exactly how i'd asked for (which is sometimes not the case elsewhere !) but for the pleasurable and positive experience i had there !

You get a really decent hair cut, no fuss and good value for central London. Antonio and his staff are always friendly, and a high standard is maintained. You are always offered a beer, tea or coffee whilst you are waiting. I would highly recommend Metamorphosis.

After two horrific back to back dye jobs at Rush, I went in to see Patricia and she saved my hair. She was so great, and listened to what I wanted and my hair looks amazing. Will only be going to this salon from now on. The prices are incredible and the service beats any high street salon names. So pleased I found this hidden Battersea gem.

Visited this salon for first time a few days ago - best cut I ever had and great advice from Antonio. Will definitely be going back. Antonio is very friendly and easy to talk to. Hair is now easy to look after at home. Very happy.

Average cut - too much money and they did not offer me new customer discount - also had to go back for re-cut a few days later - not what I had hoped for
