Bonnie Gull was born from a pop-up Seafood Shack in Hackney in 2012. This was followed by a full-time, permanent restaurant Bonnie Gull Seafood Shack in Fitzrovia. Now the owners, Alex Hunter and Danny Clancy, have announced the opening of a second site, Bonnie Gull Seafood Cafe in Exmouth Market this April.
There will be a shellfish table offering oysters, cockles, smoked mussels and langoustines served traditionally on newspaper. ‘Rolls’ will offer a Cockney Po’ Boy – their take on the Creole classic - as well as native lobster rolls, fresh picked crab milk-rolls and fish finger sandwiches.
The menu will include Smash your own 1Kg Cock Crab with flame-grilled brown meat; Newspaper baked Cornish mackerel with choucroute and bramley apple; and their famous Beer-battered North sea haddock, beef dripping chips, scraps and mushy peas.

I went to Bonnie Gull Seafood Cafe with a few friends. The decor was very nice and the service was good. I had fish and chips which was delicious. Would definitely visit again.
