Today I wanted to buy some Paracetamol for my sick neighbour. I did not have my wallet on me but had enough coins to pay for it but was told it is card only.
I find this grossly unfair for people who do not have a card, maybe the elderly for example.
It is not only this business that is dictating to people how they should pay but quite a few other businesses as well.
I will not use Starr Pharmacy again and perhaps if other people only used retailers who give their customers the choice on how they want to pay then Starr Pharmacy and other businesses may in future change their tune.
How did we pay before cards were around and also some shops if their card machine is down tell you it's cash only, if they have the choice then by all means so should the customer.
Starr Pharmacy is a dispensing chemist that sells a range of toiletries. They also deliver prescribed oxygen tanks to peoples homes.
