I always visit MAC in King's Road and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Don't believe what some people write, they are just being nasty for the sake of it. If you are not sure of what you look like in a diffent light the staff give you a mirror to take outside to have a look in proper daylight.

I went to buy some foundation from this store but later regretted my decision. I ended up leaving the store with out a purchase due to service i was given! The staff were not helpful, instead they were rude and clearly not interested in helping me. I was looking round and when i accidentally walked round the other side of the 'counter' i was rudely spoken to and didn't feel i could ask them for help. I then found what i was looking for but needed help with the colour. no one looked willing to help and quite frankly i was to scared to ask. so i just left! go to a different mac store.

I had a similar experience at Mac. I bought some foundation but when I returned home could see (in better lighting - the lighting in the store is not very good)that my face was an unappealing shade of day-glo orange. I returned the product which meant I had to give all my personal details (address, telephone number, email etc). I regret doing this as I have been plagued by sales calls from various insurance/kitchen firms ever since. More fool me for giving my details away so easily. Buy your makeup elsewhere!

I visited the Mac store in the King's Road to buy some under-eye concealer. I asked an assistant for advice and bought some concealor that she recommended. I left the shop but caught sight of myself in M and S next door looking like a giant panda (the concealer had the opposite effect!) I returned to Mac to swap my purchase with something that looked less awful but found the assistant unhelpful and quite patronising. She swapped my purchase with something else which on returning home I realised was just as unflattering. Better off sticking to Boots. Never again!
