US singing star Stacy Francis has made a huge impact in the UK in a very short space of time after her recent stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house alongside fellow stars Heidi & Spencer, Coleen Nolan, Calum Best and Kim Woodburn. She has now announced a one off show on 9th March at London’s Hippodrome.

Previously she was a finalist and fan favourite on the first season of The X Factor USA. Her audition blew Simon Cowell away as he gave her one of his very few standing ovations and proclaimed, "I have been doing this a long time. That was one of the best auditions I have ever seen in my life. I love, love, love it. I love you!" Fellow judge LA Reid declared that she literally “made the hairs on his arm stand up” and that “her voice stirs souls!” The YouTube videos of her X Factor performances have been viewed collectively over 15 million times.

Her career didn’t begin on the X Factor: she has been singing all of her life. She grew up a preacher’s kid in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn, NY. Aged 16, Stacy joined the girl group, Ex-Girlfriend and signed to Warner Bros Records by music industry legend Benny Medina. They reached #3 in the Billboard charts with "Why Can't You Come Home," produced by noted singer/songwriter, R. Kelly. Before leaving the group, Stacy performed on Broadway in the show Boys Choir of Harlem and Friends and appeared in Girlfriend, a made for television movie produced by Oprah Winfrey.
Stacy is a trained actress and has toured the world with several stage plays and musical productions in addition to appearing on a variety of television programs including featured roles on Third Watch (NBC), Half and Half. The Parkers (UPN), Yes Dear (CBS), Phil of the Future (Disney), Fastlane (FOX), Son of The Beach (FX) and In My Opinion (WB). She has also performed live on The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Showtime At The Apollo, Soul Train and The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. A highlight of Stacy’s musical theatre career was landing a starring role opposite Chaka Khan in the West End production of Mama I Want To Sing in London. The success of the play resulted in a coveted performance at the Olivier Awards.

Since the X Factor, Stacy has stayed busy performing live for major brands including Pepsi and Coca Cola. Recent live performances include a private concert for Tom Cruise where she was flown in to perform aboard a private yacht in the Caribbean to celebrate his birthday. ?Tom even joined her onstage. Stacy was most recently a cast member on TV One’s highest rated show RNB DIVAS LA Season 3.Stacy once performed in front of Will Smith and he was moved to exclaim: "I can't wait for the world to discover Stacy Francis!”
