Watch inspirational performances by outstanding young performers from the Royal College of Music whilst enjoying a hot drink and a pastry.

Solovey Duo sees flautist Renate Sokolovska and harpist Valeria Kurbatova collaborating on a series of carefully curated programmes, centred around Russian culture. Previous concerts have explored the music of the Ballets Russes, as well as Russian literature and folk song.

The pair have given concerts at St James’s Church Piccadilly and Forty Hall among other London venues. Most recently, they performed Darrell Davison’s new concerto for flute and harp at West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge.

Commissioning new works from emerging composers is hugely important to the Solovey Duo. This year they are pleased to be working with composer George Stevenson, whose work Domovoi will be part of the concert’s programme.
