Watch inspirational performances by outstanding young performers from the Royal College of Music whilst enjoying a hot drink and a pastry.
Yaroslava and Christine have been performing for over a year as a duo. One of their recent performances took place in the Foundling Museum, where they performed Rachmaninov’s cello sonata as well as works by Russian composers, transcribed for cello and piano by Christine, as a part of her research project.
This concert will feature one of the most powerful works written for solo cello, Zoltán Kodály’s Sonata Op.8, as well as Prokofiev’s joyful Sonata Op. 119 and Lutoslawski’s monumental Grave.
