London’s leading alternative choir hosts its third annual summer concert at Union Chapel with special guests Amber Run, virtuoso beatboxer Reeps One, producer Guy Sigsworth (Björk, Imogen Heap) and experimental singer Martin Grech. The evening will feature unique arrangements of songs by pioneering artists, premieres of new work and rare guest appearances. The 100 piece choir will also perform a special tribute to tragic singer-songwriter Jeff Buckley to mark the 20th anniversary of his death, plus a unique choral version of Radiohead’s “Paranoid Android”, ahead of the hotly-anticipated re-release of OK Computer.
The choir will be showcasing its specialisms in alternative, leftfield and electronic music and audiences will be treated to original arrangements of songs by popular artists including Bon Iver, Woodkid, SOHN, Marika Hackman, Ásgeir, Agnes Obel, RY X and Ólafur Arnalds.
“The effect that London Contemporary Voices have when they sing on anything is absolutely spine-tingling"
