Mayhem Theatre Company returns to Wimbledon following previous sell out productions of Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Performed over four consecutive night in the outdoor splendor of Cannizaro Park, Mayhem presents a bold and exciting new production of Shakespeare’s most tragic tale.

On the troubled streets of Verona, betwixt two warring families locked in bitter conflict, Romeo (a Montague) meets Juliet (a Capulet). In defiance of the feuding families, the young lovers dream of a life away from a society destroyed by the hostilities. However, in a cruel twist of fate and misadventure, dreams are brutally shattered and lives are lost.

A timeless tale of love, loss and destiny, Romeo and Juliet will steal your heart on a delightful summer’s evening.

Seating and Accessibility
Please bring your own seating or rugs. Picnics are welcome. The venues are accessible for wheelchair users, but please advise us if anyone attending will be using a wheelchair, so that we may arrange the easiest access to the performance area.

Cancellation
We will only cancel a performance if absolutely necessary due to adverse weather conditions. In this instance, if possible, tickets for an alternative performance will be offered. We will not, however, be able to provide monetary refunds.
