TACOMA YOUTH CHORUS
Tacoma Youth Chorus is a select, auditioned choral arts education program in Tacoma, Washington, in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. From September through June, Tacoma Youth Chorus welcomes 200 children and youth from South Puget Sound to participate weekly in six auditioned choirs for girls and boys ages 7-19, and a pre-choir music class for 5-6-year-olds. Each ensemble is committed to artistic development through disciplined vocal training and the performance of quality choral literature. The educational experience culminates in four major concerts per season, as well as collaborative performances with community musicians and arts organizations by invitation. Our high school singers (Chorale, Women's Choir and Men's Choir) tour internationally every three years.
