Please join us at the National Gallery Sainsbury Wing Theatre on Thursday 14th September from 12 – 2 pm for a special event with Ed Balls to discuss his life and career, his journey around stammering and the importance of keeping mentally well as part of the Mental Wealth Festival.

This event will include a signing of his book ‘Speaking Out’ – a record of a life in politics. It is also about how power can be used for the benefit of others, and the lessons that can be learned when things go wrong. It is about the mechanics of Westminster, and of Government.

Ed Balls is a former MP and Cabinet Minister. He is a Senior Fellow at Harvard University Kennedy School, visiting Professor to the Policy Institute at King’s College London, and Chairman of Norwich City FC.

He is a dad, cook, pianist, economist and “Strictly” phenomenon.

This is a ticketed event – Tickets cost £25 which includes a copy of ‘Speaking Out’

Please could you also let us know if you have any specific support needs in advance, we appreciate your help in planning.
