Henry Moore’s Draped Seated Woman will return to the East End for all to see from Monday 23rd October. The famous bronze sculpture, known locally as ‘Old Flo’, was the was originally housed on the Stifford Estate in Stepney. When the estate was demolished in the 1990s, Old Flo was sent to Yorkshire Sculpture Park for temporary safe keeping. After an extended, 20-year stay in Yorkshire. A campaign, led by local Mayor John Biggs, has seen this national treasure return to her rightful home in London’s East End.
