Consignia, the Alternative Comedians of the Year 2016, are having a Christmas party. The guest list includes anyone who buys a ticket/turns up on the day (i.e you hopefully) and some of the best alternative comedians in the business who may insist on performing amongst the nibbles.

In the second part of the afternoon, Consignia present a one off Christmas Show/Party/Miracle. Christmas has become a Neo-Liberal* hell hole: several competing Santas have been introduced to boost competition, elves have been laid off as their work is outsourced to exploited workers in the Far East and the reindeers are now non-unionised workers of the gig economy. Consignia are here to save it and recapture its true spirit, probably not in a religious way though. Expect fun, surprises, laughter, beer, hats, crackers, poorly rehearsed routines and socialist ideology. This is not a pantomime.

Here’s what people said about Consignia’s 2017 Edinburgh fringe show:

“Consignia’s Panopticon is THE BEST show at #edfringe2017.” – Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee Ben Target

“GO AND SEE THIS SHOW. IT IS AMAZING. I haven’t laughed so much in a very long time. It is brilliant.” – Ali Brice

“This could be 2017’s strangest comedy show.” – Laugh Out London

“This is the traditional spirit of the Edinburgh Fringe.” – John Fleming

“A man screams “No” as he’s hit in the face with a mop. The room is demanded to wave. Get on board.” – The Skinny

“Resets absurdism for 21st century” – AntiCrit

*Noel-iberal, if you will.
