London's largest and most theatrical Burns Night Supper & Ceilidh dance returns on January 26th and 27th; Burns Baby Burns is a time to honour your Scottish ancestry (or perhaps invent some) with a night of hot tartan, highland flings and 18th century style three course feast.
Burns Night is a time for celebrating Scotland’s first bard Robert Burns and to revive his words, legacy and irreverently ribald lust for life but in very 2018 fashion! The Burns Baby Burns’ recipe adulterates this age old ritual with theatrical performances, audience interventions and lashings of comedy, plus of course, a massive great Ceilidh dance after dinner!
If you’re looking for a centuries old highland castle style Scottish feast & hooley, replete with performers, fabulous decor, razor-tongued comedians and the best-sprung dance floor in town, look no further than Bethnal Green’s York Hall!
No trimmings will be spared as we serve up a traditional three-course dinner including the highland piping in of a very rare giant haggis (vegan & veggie alternatives provided - this is East London right), and for after ceremonies, we will unleash the radical Ceilidh Liberation Front to throw aside what inhibitions remain and do what humans do best in times of celebration - dance the night away!
Burns Baby Burns is produced by award-winning events company The Nest Collective.
