Stand up for Labour holds its first event for Chingford & Woodford Green Labour Party at the Bojangles Brasserie featuring four fantastic performers raising funds for the #UnseatIDS campaign.

Arthur Smith is known as a ‘Grumpy Old Man’ but he has brought joy to many Labour supporters in the past five years, including at the first ever Stand up for Labour in July 2012. Comedy legend Arthur has appeared on every TV show you can think of and is also an accomplished writer and playwright.

Ava Vidal is a familiar face on most topical current affairs programmes (Newsnight, This Week, Daybreak and ITN News). As a comedian, she has appeared on Mock the Week and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

Attila the Stockbroker was launched into public consciousness by Radio One DJ John Peel in 1982/83, and he has spent 35 years touring the world, performing well over 3,000 gigs in 24 countries and releasing 40 LPs/EPs/CDs and seven books of poetry.

Guest speaker Artist Taxi Driver has built a massive following on social media with his video blogs and artistic publicity stunts. These include pushing a peanut along the floor with his nose, from Goldsmiths to Downing Street in a protest at student debt; and attempting to cartwheel from Brighton to London.

The night will also include liquid prizes and a raffle.
