Watch inspirational performances by outstanding musicians from the Royal College of Music, whilst enjoying a hot drink and a pastry in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room.

Amy Lyddon (mezzo-soprano) and Ian Tindale (piano) both studied at Cambridge University and the Royal College of Music.

A ‘warmly expressive’ (The Guardian) and ‘exquisite’ singer (BBC Radio 3), Amy Lyddon has appeared in concert at Cadogan Hall, St John’s Smith Square, Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and Palau de la Música Valencia, and with orchestras including the Academy of Ancient Music, London Mozart Players, and Oxford Philharmonic. She has performed roles for Grange Park Opera, Shadwell Opera at Opera Holland Park and Devon Opera.

Winner of the Pianist’s Prize in the 2017 Wigmore Hall/Kohn Foundation Song Competition, and of the accompaniment prizes at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards, Royal Overseas League Music Competition, Gerald Moore Award and Maggie Teyte Competition, collaborative pianist Ian Tindale has performed at Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, and St John’s Smith Square, as well as at the Oxford Lieder Festival, Ryedale Festival and Buxton Festival.
