Watch inspirational performances by outstanding musicians from the Royal College of Music, whilst enjoying a hot drink and a pastry in the Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room.

Teddy Humphrey began learning the saxophone aged seven at Shrewsbury House School through to early 2015 when he achieved his ATCL Diploma. After deciding he wanted a career in music, Teddy auditioned for the Royal College of Music’s Junior Department, where he currently trains in classical and jazz.

Teddy is a member of the RCMJD Big Band and he also sings with the Chamber Choir. As a major music scholar at Epsom College, Teddy is heavily involved in the musical life of the school, regularly performing with their Big Band, Jazz Ensemble and Chapel Choir. He has played in a variety of venues including Ronnie Scott’s, The 606 Club and Westminster Hall.

In his desire to become a professional musician Teddy sings and also plays flute, clarinet and piano allowing him to explore multiple genres of music. Now aged seventeen, he has set his sights on attending a Conservatoire after completing his A levels at Epsom College, with a view to establishing and enjoying a long and successful career as a professional musician.
