Bluebird Bake off

The Iconic Bluebird in Chelsea is on a mission to find London’s best baker in their very own bake off, in support of international development charity, WaterAid.

Alongside stalls from renowned bakeries such as Pear and Grove and Pophams Bakery there will be a competition where each vendor will be asked to prepare their interpretation of one of Britain’s favourite cakes; the Lemon Drizzle. Each cake will be submitted to the esteemed judges, with a panel including Great Taste Award judge Felicity Spector, MasterChef finalist and cookbook author Emma Spitzer and Bluebird’s very own pastry chef, Roger Pizey. Everyone from amateur bakers to pastry chefs and London's favourite bakeries are invited to come together, with a grand prize for the winning baker!

25 per cent of all proceeds from the event will go to WaterAid and the charity’s vital work in bringing clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to people living in poverty across the world.
