A unique and creative musical force, Sarah’s style has been described by Rock’n’Reel as “a bracingly eclectic mix of Beat poetry with jazz, folk and Middle Eastern elements”. Her terrific lyrics reflect her passion for politics (she writes occasional political papers and fundraises for numerous causes) and the music is witty, poignant, quirky and swinging. Hailed as one of the major singer-songwriters on the British scene, Sarah’s two albums “Stalking Juliet” (2009) and “In the Current Climate” (2011) both received 4 & 5 star reviews in the Independent, the Guardian and the Times, while her last record, “Glory Days” was called “her best mix yet of hooky tunes & smart lyrics” (MOJO Magazine). She has toured extensively in the UK and Europe performing at festivals, theatres, arts centres and headlining at major venues, and has also appeared live on both BBC Radio 4’s ‘Woman’s Hour’ and ‘Start the Week’ as well as BBC London 94.9’s ‘Simon Lederman’ show. Sarah’s latest project is the six-song EP “Roundhouse Bounty” released via Audio Network, which she’s described as “bluesy ballads” with an “alt-country” feel. Sarah will be playing these new songs as well as old favourites from her back catalogue accompanied by her excellent band: Kit Downesy (piano), Ruth Goller (bass) and Emiliano Carouselli (drums). And look out for Sarah's recently published book of lyrics and poetry "Queen Ithaca Blues". Sarah is truly one-of-a-kind and absolutely not to be missed.

“…an incandescent new presence who matches her imposing delivery with superior lyrics” Guardian; “Haunting tunes and striking lyrics … yearningly pretty and bitter sweet.” The Independent
