Indomitable Spirit – an exhibition dedicated to the history and the context of Henry Moore’s Draped Seated Woman

The exhibition contains an eclectic range of imagery and text that will help visitors to absorb the incredible life and works of Henry Moore. The collection includes:

•Archive photographs of Henry Moore at work, sculpting and creating plaster versions of Old Flo in various studios

•Quotations from the artist himself on how he worked, accompanied by wartime shelter drawings

•A series of photographs outlining the history of Old Flo from her creation, removal and eventual return home to the East End

•Visitors are also able to visit Old Flo herself in Cabot Square – just one of six bronze editions in existence worldwide
