Celebrate World Gin Day at a global gathering of Gin Makers

What is Junipalooza?
Known as THE connoisseurs Gin Festival, the much-loved show is set to return to Tobacco Dock, London, with 60 distillers traveling from as far afield as Australia and the USA to take part in person.

Junipalooza’s unique policy of having either the Master Distiller or the Owner of the Gin company present and pouring samples in person – no matter where their distillery is based - guarantees gin fans can sample gins from all over the world while also gaining exclusive access to the people behind the spirit.

Commenting on the festival, Gin Foundry’s Editor Olivier Ward says: “Junipalooza is as much about the spirit of the maker as the Spirit they make. You don’t just get told what’s in a gin and which botanicals or what flavours to expect – you also get to know the people behind it; their personality, their methods, their ideas and enthusiasm as well as what they are up to next…”

Now considered the foremost gin event in Europe - Junipalooza 2018 promises gin stands laden with over 150 gins between them, category-wide masterclasses, food, a cocktail bar and 60 different distilleries represented in what promises to be a fun-fuelled experience for 3,500 gin thirsty fans.

The festival was established in 2013 as a way of creating an opportunity to meet the makers of the nation’s favourite gins and learn more about the people behind the craft distilling movement. Now in its fifth year, Junipalooza has also become known for its fun, inclusive atmosphere, along with its ability to shine a light on the huge variety of gins in a simple, accessible manner.

Junipalooza is proud to take place over World Gin Day weekend. To celebrate the global nature of the occasion, Junipalooza London 2018 features not only the best British gins but also many exciting international distilleries.

Who will be taking part?
Already confirmed to attend is the grain-to-glass made, and intricately packaged Koval Gin from the USA, while category leaders Four Pillars will represent Australia, flying out from Melbourne to join in person.

Other European distillers include Ireland’s Listoke Gin, the newly launched Driftwood Distillery in the Netherlands and Nordic-made Bareksten Gin, all serving up their award winning gins.

As Gin is a quintessentially British spirit and London is the global capital for gin however, there will also be over 35 British Gin-makers present; bringing with them the best juniper-laced spirits this country has to offer. With old and new alike taking part, there’ll be plenty to discover with London made Renegade Gin pulling up along side Twelve Key’s Gin for their debuts into the world of gin shows…

Timing and ticket details
There are three sessions over the weekend, 2 on Saturday each lasting 4 hours and one on Sunday lasting 5 hours.
