On 20th April, Bertha DocHouse welcomes German director Nora Fingscheidt for a special Q&A preview screening her debut film Without this World: a richly observed portrait of an isolated Mennonite community.
Living an 18th-century lifestyle in 21st century rural Argentina, speaking Low German instead of Spanish, and learning only the bible and the catechism in their school, the film captures the colony as they resist interference from the outside world.
