Zoe started singing jazz while living and working in New York, and soon became a regular fixture on the scene, often sitting in with the late Harry Whitaker and his trio at Arturo’s down in the Village as well as working with many other musicians including Harry Allen, Warren Vache, Joe Cohn and Chris Flory. Her first album “Looking for a Boy” was released to significant acclaim, while her second, “The Very Thought of You”, recorded live at the 606 in 2014, came out to similar plaudits. Now Zoe has produced a third, highly engaging, CD called "Remembering Blossom Dearie", featuring songs written and/or performed by that iconic US singer/pianist. First emerging as a jazz singer/pianist in the early 1950's, by the 1960's, with her "little girl" voice combining with often ascerbic kyrics, Blossom had established herself as an International cabaret star with a unique talent. She frequently featured songs written by her friends Bob Dorough and Dave Frishberg, and had significant success in the Jazz/cabaret world with songs such as "Peel me a Grape" and "I'm Hip". Tonight Zoe will be performing songs frm the CD which provide a great showcase for her beautiful voice as well as her exquisite taste. Appearing with Zoe will be musicians featured on the CD, the multi-award winning Jim Mullen on guitar (widely regarded as one of the finest jazz guitarists in Europe) as well as the excellent Barry Green on piano and the outstanding Mick Hutton on bass.

"Because taste is her middle name the evening reeked with class and style.....which makes Zoe something of a breath of spring.....a great interpreter of the Great American Songbook" Jazz Journal; “Something a bit special is going on when this artist…takes the stage...a classy, poised singer” LondonJazz News; “Fine…singer” Time Out
