Haraya, debuted officially in 2017 in a sold-out concert at St. Peter's Church Notting Hill is coming back for another night of music making on the evening of June 2nd, 2018. Haraya, which means "imagination" or "vision" in Filipino and "pride","dignity" and "freedom" in Swahili, is founded by Karlene Moreno- Hayworth, alumnus of the Philippine Madrigal Singers (Madz). The choir strives to promote Filipino music in their concerts and performances by following the Filipino choral tradition which utilises a homogeneous rich warm tone in vocal production. The repertoire for the night includes a wide range of styles and genres which include sacred, classical, pop, opera, folk and contemporary. We are very excited for this upcoming concert and would love to have you with us in this evening of music making…
